Soft Wash
It’s a term you might have seen, but what is it?
Softwashing and pressure washing can be likened to trimming weeds vs using weedkiller/pulling weeds. When a surface is pressure washed, it often looks clean, but moss, algae and biological spores can be left behind, embedded in the ‘clean’ surface. A softwash treatment renders these microfilms inactive, so they do not start to take hold again after cleaning. Following a pressure wash with a softwash, that surface remains clean for longer, and further softwash treatments at appropriate intervals can remove the future need for pressure washing in some cases.Â
Roofs – Flat and Pitched
Roofs surveyed and cleaned, whether pitched/flat, slates or tiles, including moss and algae removal.
Did you know when a roof is low pressure cleaned or undergoes mechanical moss removal followed by a softwash treatment, if maintained every two to three years that roof can remain moss free for as long as the maintenance softwashing schedule is adhered to. Using a low pressure of softwashing detergent every few years will keep a roof moss free, far less expensive than a clean. So we can consider the ‘clean’ as the initial investment in an always ‘clean’ roof. Message or call to book your roof survey and discuss your requirements.
Render
Gentle application for render, K-rend, and other delicate surfaces.
We’re sometimes asked: “My render has unsightly black and red streaks, does my render need painting?” – I suspect you’ve noticed many newer rendered properties looking this way! You may be surprised to learn that through specialised cleaning these rendered walls can become ‘as new’.
Render cleaning is an area where gentle low pressure steam cleaning alongside washing with biocidal products is key. The red and black streaks are biological load and need to be treated as such. Once we’ve attained your lovely clean render, a biocidal treatment every 2 to 3 years can maintain this clean condition. We’re more than happy to survey and discuss your requirements prior to formalising a quotation for work.

Guttering & Fascia
Supply, fit, repair, and clean soffits, fascia, and gutters. Don’t forget guttering is your home’s defence against damp; maintenance is vital. We have many commercial and domestic properties on our annual gutter clearance schedule, where we also check for and implement repairs. Please speak to us to discuss.
What Our Customers Say About Us

“I have known Carl for nearly eight years, firstly as a window cleaner which he still carries out to this day. He has also power washed my roof and done some guttering work and other odd jobs which I was unable to do myself. He is extremely hard working, completely honest, always courteous and friendly and his prices are competitive. I have recommended Carl to friends and neighbours, who are equally satisfied.”
